Multi species

Thanks to Guppy for a fun day of multi species fun. One 3/8 oz kalin jig today tipped with my 4” split tail landed multiple stripers, blues, scup, sea bass, trigger fish, bonito and another southern fish I’ve not seen before. Unbelievable how much bait we saw on coming back in. Ironically the crabs we drowned never got a sniff from a tog, I think the water is just way to warm.

finally got around to downloading a picture of this fish I have yet to catch and don't recognize. There were literally a hundred of this hanging around and below a green can outside the westport river yesterday and they were easy to catch if you wanted on plastic.

Looks like some sort of rudder fish.
