Just four short hours....

Can sometimes make a season and all the work and expense of owning a boat worth it.
After not having been able to use it more than ten times all year, I was able to find good, solid sized fish very willing to eat all 25 macks I was able to jig up. Today was a good day.

I can't believe I missed it yesterday. Although, if I had been fishing I am sure that I would have been involved with what sounded like an awful accident. My heart sunk when I saw the news this AM.

Be careful out there, guys.

Way to go, Ross!

Surf was big yesterday. Not an easy day to get in where you wanted to …. I was staying 100' off of where I would normally go. Had to keep an eye on the waves constantly. 6-10' from what I saw and reading depth sounder. They were in a 20' Grady, same hull I run.....

Glad you had a good day - heard about that accident, was hoping it was not you

Rockfish9 10-02-2018 06:09 AM

Ocean has been wild for 2 weeks now...no leaving the mouth of the river. .especially at night...I watched 20 or more boats turn around Saturday. .no fish is worth the risk...saddened me greatly when I heard about the accident.
