Just found out that Abu Garcia has discontinued the Big Game 6500CL and 7000CL:af: :af:

What are these guys thinking of ? :smash:

How many 7000cl you got left?

Lets put it this way, I called every distributor and bought every reel I could find and you can count the # of both reels on your hands and have a few fingers left .:wall:

Mike I will take a 7000cl unless they are all spoken for. Let me know.

Are They Effin Nuts?

What are they nutts. BC has the 6500 and he loves it!!! what ever happened to that saying that if it isn't broke don't fix it!!!

Spoke to an Abu rep this past spring and asked him the same question. What he said, was that although Abu sells lots of saltwater reels, it is nothing compaired to what they sell to the freshwater folks. Freshwater is their bread and butter, so that is where their R&D and new product lines are headed. Better get them while you can. :(

Let's see. You take the best reels you make...and discontinue them. That makes perfect sense.... to somebody with their head up their butt!
