Rod thoughts.

I have a new Tranx 500.
Trying to think about something somewhat lightweight in the 9.5 ft range to throw heavy plugs and maybe eels in the hated place to fish.
I use ODMs and CTS rods now.
I tend to prefer a 70/30 split.
It’s a feel kind of thing.
Just want to really put the boots to a fish if I have to.
Any other blanks that I should check into ?
The technology seems to change as fast as phones do.

I use CTS' and Allstars, like Paul said the 1208- fits what you want it to do to a tee. I've taken large in the hated place with mine with no problems. There are some floating around just post a WTB on this and the other site and you should be able to find one.

I love my arra 1205, but it is 1 piece. With its more moderate flex, it puts the stones to the fish with less wear on me than most other far casting rods I have used.

Big fan of the century stealth 10’6”. The heavier model I guess. I love it for plugging , eeling and also throwing heavy shads and heavy stick shads at the canal. Versatile and a very moderate action which I really like. I don’t do fast action rods, something with my casting style I guess.
