Woods hole ramp

Its been a few years since I've used the public ramp there. As I remember it, it was wicked beat up with very little side street parking. Does anyone know the ramp I'm referring to and is that ramp on water st.? still there?? Is there a better ramp close by. Thanks

Still there and things haven't improved at all. Get there by 6:00 AM or forget about it. Green Pond is next closest and a better ramp.

Watch the ramp at Green Pond at low tide, there is a major ledge, if you have a larger boat, you may have trouble launching there only during low tide. If you trailer tires drop over it, your all done.

Good new for many is that Falmouth is going to finally have a real ramp, one with parkng, a smooth ramp, deep water at any tide, and it's across the street from West Marine. The new ramp in Falmouth inner harbor is almost complete, The ramp itself is done, but they are clearing out the parking lots and puting in the bulkheads. I think it will be at least a month before it's complete.
