We had Al Gags last night at MSBA
 

We had Al Gags last night as the MSBA club entertainment, like every year I've been a member, it's the funniest show of the year. Sure, Al makes plugs like the new Mr Bunker and the highly fished Mambo Minnow (black at night!!!) and many people use and swear by them, but his true calling may be more of a commedian as he really is a funny guy. As usual, last night's anual appearance from Al was a howl. The reason I'm bringing this up is that Weekapaug Surfcasters have him as there entertainment this Monday, April 1st (coincidence? I think not). I highly recommend seeing him as is it always a good time. Just ask FW&BC...

In addition to the lure business, Al is now filming shows for ESPN which will start to air early next year - I'm looking forward to that!!

The board is slow tonight. And whats with that Premium members group under my handle?

I'm still tweaking the board, trying to get the best performance, will still take a few days...

As for the "Premium Member", the board package allows for rating people by how often they post and other things like that where you accumulate points and such, that is the defaul group name when you reach "x" number of posts...

We need to have a contest to see who can up with the best group-level names, hehehe - grand prize? I dunno but it should be something fun and uselesss... ;D

John your right Al Gags is a trip. We had him last year at the CT. Surfcasters and he was good.

I learned how to put one of his poppers on with out cursing and losing your mind. No easy task with those sunken in rings he has on that popper to get the ole duo lock snap on! Silly little trick makes it all the more easier now!

Question for you John, In the Mass striped bass surf report on page 16 of the MSBA newsletter they list a whole bunch of web sites but one is missing- yours. How come? Oversight? just curious.

I've been hearing how great his shows are and was hoping to be able to get to one of them.......do you think my cousin and life long friend would mind if I didnt go to her bridal shower in the morning??? HEEHEEHEEE :O
