Weekend before Thanksgiving, nice weather for running the beaches ; )

So what's up for the weekend?

Putting up Christmas lights Saturday. With lock down imminent… at least we can make the place look good.. even if we are the only one enjoying it.

Sunday will be a brew day.. as I stated in the What's brewing post, I'm going to brew a Belgian Dubbel which will be ready for the Meredith Rotary derby( Ice fishing) the Middle of February. While the
pot is boiling I'll use the time to blow out the irrigation going to the garden and shut down the water out thre for the season.. bring on the winter.. Im ready.

For those of you who hang your Christmas lights in trees, look into getting an ELF, or Easy Light Feeder. Keep your feet on the ground and do it better and in less time. 50 bucks and worth the money. And made in the USA.... I wish I could come up with a product like these folks did...

Picked the boy up from college this morning. He'll be here until late January. Hanging out, cooking, and catching up....no real plans.

Leaf roundup...
Lookin for another scallop..
Diggin soft shell...
Steamers and beer....
Couch and beer....

Gonna go find a white chin to stick.... maybe corral some mackerel out in the sound? Supposed to be ok I guess?
Could be the last hurrah for the boat?... we'll see

Golf tomorrow and doing some carving Sunday.

Golf today... windy.
Wife wants to try and make croissants... that's a project! Would rather buy them at the little french bakery in Duxbury :)

Hoping we don't shut the state down... hearing rumors a shutdown will be announced sometime next week. Sigh...
