You would never see any kind of gaudy Christmas decoration at my house. That being said, this dude gets very high marks.

If I had that rig, or even a T-top on mine, it would have already been moved to the front lawn and I would be out shopping for the blue lights right now! Would have no qualms copying this.

You could turn yours into the boat of your dreams for Christmas with some strapping, lights and a little imagination.

Go for it

Love Summerville. 30 minutes North of Charleston. Jeanne and I play golf there often and owned a condo once at legend Oaks in Summerville.

Mine is covered, but I have blue lights along the rub rail,a string of blue over the top and down the motor, a big red bow on the bow..

That guy takes the "Grizwald family Christmas "prize for sure.

I can remember years ago that RI Rockhound and Tautog use to decorate the Valhalla for the boat parade in Newport.

That's weird, when I click on the picture....the enlargement looks right-side up? Guess we can blame Covid for that too...

I also use a tarp to cover my boat. I always had a problem with snow and ice building up on the tarp, Last year I used some litter containers with sand in them to keep tension on the tarp. This stopped the snow from building up

That is NOT a tarp, I make a snug fitting custom shrink wrap cover over a frame that uses interlocking cuts to hold it together, I simply tie it off to the trailer, I get about 10 years out of a cover, snow slides right off.

No it’s a wierd thing I have happen all the time, picture looks right side up, I upload it and it’s on its side. Now here is the wierd thing. If I delete the picture, go open it in paint and rotate it so it’s on its side, save it as is, then open again in paint rotate back upright and safe again and then upload that it’s upright and fine. So what changed, nothing, it was upright to start and after the two openings in paint it’s right back to upright, very weird. John likes weird as we all know, so maybe it’s IT foolery.

The picture has metadata in it that specifies things like orientation or eastern Ukrainian coordinates. Some applications may use or not use it. Sometimes just opening the image in an editor and saving it will encode it properly.

That’s amazing. I give credit to everyone who makes an effort to spread a little joy this time of year especially this year.
