But Guppy probably spent no more than $200 in materials...... and a "professional" boat dodger maker would have said...."oh that won't be much, only $1800 plus tax" I am like Guppy, would rather make my own and do a decent job, not the same as the pros, but respectable.....for far less money. |
There’s a guy on THT who will make you a new one if you send him your old one... I think it’s < $300
Still, nice job Ray! Posted from my iPhone/Mobile device |
Nice job Ray! I might need some sewing lessons from you before I try making that bow dodger for my boat.;)

Under 200 for materials and there are tops and there are tops... :-)
Seat belt webbing perimeter and stainless spur grommets .. Going to sew in additional layer at antenna, anchor light, radar... haven’t figured out what material to use for leak proof... Thinking about adding ( making) a tilt out tackle into console... it must be off season... LOL |
Nice job Ray. When I said that on FB, my comment was cuz I did mine last year. Removed mine last year. Got one from a local vender for $300 with my old one as a pattern. I took it off and put on myself. PIA with my radar.
