well, i’m here on inauguration day, i’m not hiding because i can’t handle
the result. not sure everyone can say the same.


i won’t gripe one tenth as much as you did. i know what’s coming, and i am prepared to benefit from it. oil prices are going to increase, the dollar is going to weaken, green energy will be treated favorably, chinas ascent will accelerate. you can’t lose, betting on those things.

And here is the difference between us.

I have said ten times here, that Trump broke his promise on Mexico paying for the wall, and that he deserves to be criticized for that.

4 years from now, when cancer still exists, will you criticize Biden for making a false promise to sick people?

Not comparable. Trump didn't explicitly say that a cure for cancer, would be a function of him winning an election.

Also, if I was GS, I would accuse you of "whataboutism". But as always, everything is OK when democrats do it.

Paul, between the two of us, one of us has regularly praised and criticized both sides. The other doesn't go against his ideology in any meaningful ways, ever.

if you could kindly point me to where in trumps quote, he explicitly said a cure for cancer depended on his winning an election? That would really help me out. Because i can’t find that language in there.

“We”, meaning all of us, are going to cure cancer, i have little doubt that my kids will live to see that. i doubt i’ll live to see it, and it won’t have much to do with who the president is.

So isn't just splitting hairs between what Trump said and what Biden said?

They both are inspirational (and probably why I didn't know he said it - people viewed it as inspirational) and hopefully we will see them in our lifetime (although I doubt we'll find a "cure" for cancer).
