VAN STAAL Pliers?

Does anyone know where I can contact Van Staal? I have two pairs of 7” pliers, one is seized and barely moves. I have tried greasing them, oiling, etc. Doesn’t work.

I wouldn’t mind getting the tools to disassembled myself. But I have no idea what tool to use to take the pliers apart?

Did you contact one of the service centers (SWE)?

Easy to be take apart. I disassemble and clean Mine every winter. 2 small
Pins or nails in the nut and loosen. If I can remember it may be a left handed thread but I just can’t remember. I’m old and forget #^&#^&#^&#^&.

Contact the Saltwater Edge (866-793-6733) as contacting VS directly will likely result in this anyway.

Tommy, the same thing happened to mine a few years back. I think it took a total of 7 or 8 seasons of neglect for them to seize. Vs service fixed them for about 35 or 40 bucks.

If you want to try fixing yourself a watch back removal wrench might workand they are under 10 bucks. I use one when i break down my pinion in my VS reels. I will see if it will open the pliers tomorrow.

Any chance you have checked to see if the watch back removal wrench fits the VS pliers? I would prefer to service myself, just the way I do things I guess.
