Saturday Suggestions? and some rambling questions

Anyone goin out closer to daybreak Saturday?
Walking the Surf or fishing protected waters?

I have got to loose this skunk but lately I have been frigin exhausted and sleepin 8-10 hours a nite.

The tide is around 1:AM so by sunrise it will be almost dead low.
Does that matter?

I picked up a mixed set of some twirly tail looking grubs - no bags of mixed so I got two of each color I liked from the bins at sportsmans den in QC (greensparkle, white, rustybrown, some others I cant remember). Also a bottle of black porkrind trailers. How should I rig them?

Christian - I got a small mambo too :) Green or yellow. And a pack of little green wildeyes with what look like dashed lines on them.
Suggestions for how or where to fish them?

I will finally be painting my 2 lobster buoys tonite. Think if I threw them off powderpoint they would catch crustaceans? Gonna use pogie fer bait since I ain't got no striper carcases Just skunks!!

Any idea how long you can leave a lobsterpot before retreiving it?
My minnow/eel trap tends to have minnow/eel heads in it no matter how long or short I leave it.

Bugs

Mike many many moons ago I had a dory in Scituit Hbr. and I had my pots in a line along the south side of the light house and always had full traps . I would also pull them everyother day. When I lived in Rockport I would pull every day and not bother to bait them on the weekends -rubberfish always seemed to find a way to clean them out for me. Lobsters are cannabilistic so if you can do it everyday. Powder point bridge I don't think would be to good -too much sand and very little cover for them . Out front of Third cliff is loaded with pots so ther must be something there. Good luck Jim

baby mambo, cast, let it land, come up tight, give it a twich to start it diving then reel in. keep tip low, is what i like to do, then set when its inhaled. these things are like cheating.

the storms, first cast, let it land then start reeling, 2nd cast wait a few secs, reel, 3rd a few more secs, the reel and so on until your working from the bottom up, give it a twich every now and then.

i think duxbury/near the bridge will be good this weekend. itll suck for chunkers, but itll be good for plugs cause i know for a fact the nuts are in that area.

got waders, miketalive?

I have hipboots. - I needed em with the depth of BS that gets slung around here!

Also have an aluminum rowboat that has not been in water since I bought her.

Has a slow leak but I have not yet located it.
