Good riddance 2021. Here is for a 2022 to be much better, while the bar is low, the Hopium is strong.

So what's up for the weekend? Due to poor management decisions, staffing shortages, and wrong pegs in wrong holes, I will be working.

Happy new year isn't quite ringing true at the start, here is hoping we can finally crawl out from under this covid rug we have all been living under. Going to try to cut back on some beer drinking, as being isolated and retired it's a trap I've fallen into; love sampling new IPA's.

Happy New Year to all my brother and sister surf rats. 2021 was a hard year but we made it and 22 will be better.

Wrapping up 2021 by installing trim around the new bedroom flooring, brewing some Imperial Russian Stout, taking in some bubbly and maybe watch me some foozball.

Back to work Tuesday after a 4 month "sabbatical". We will see how long that lasts. Over under is March (lacrosse season start). May be unduly influenced by Omicron or Omega or whatever else is coming our way.

Clammer and are going out to a rave tonight. I hope he got the light sticks I asked him to.

Happy New Year to all. Yup, hoping for a return to our old normal.
Cooking later today for my wife. All family gatherings have been canceled, again... Just his the last bucket of balls for the year. The range will be closed for a month now. That usually means a warm January :)

Happy New Year.50 degrees! Trout fishing in the afternoon.Tying flies,fixing rods,etc.Pot of seafood chowder resting in the fridge.16-20 shrimp,couple of brews and the stooges marathon.Debating on hitting a salt marsh creek and channel tomorrow for the 1st bass of the year.

Making chowdah for today’s family get together, house full of fun …

Had Friday off as well so I did some deer hunting, little duck hunting and then we spent the evening at my brother in laws having some great laughs. Today was the polar plunge, (I did not plunge due to a previous case of frost bite). Now to relax and get ready for work in the morning.
