You are a lot closer to this war than we are. Hoping you are well and continue to be. Can you tell us how life has changed in Finland? All I recall is that you are north of Helsinki.

Nothing much has changed. Finns don't scare easily, and in any event, we can always count on Sweden's help. Their Greipen fighters can give a SU-27 or MiG-29 pilot the worst day of his life, and their Strigvagn 122 tank is better than anything the Ruskies have. Joining NATO is under discussion, but regardless, I think seeing what other countries are doing for Ukraine now, Finland wouldn't be fighting alone even if they weren't in NATO.

Russian citizens taking the train out of St Petersburg to Helsinki. Booked solid for next few days. Last train to Clarksville for many of them trying to escape the sanctions.
