Narragansett

Was offered a job in the Narragansett area of RI.
I’ve never been to that part of the state. Is shore fishing viable or is it a pain in the ass restrictive undertaking like the cape ?

Plenty of access but you will have to change your fishing techniques. Buy some korkers

Spent a lifetime fishing Narragansett. Some sandy beaches that produce but the best spots are rock hopping meccas. Not easy fishing but places like Black Point, Bass Rock Road, Point Judith are havens for the "large".

All kinds of access, all kinds of different style places to fish. Some of the rocks are deadly, require korkers, and ideally not fishing solo.
