Found this guy in FL who is making these power knobs for VS series. You can get silver, black or gold. The black part is hard neopreme.

$27 plus $4 shipping. Direct fit

I might have been the only guy ever who replaced the 706 handles with a 704 handle, right out of the box. I hated that pancake.

Derek do you need one? My friend machines them out of aluminum. Call me tomorrow evening if you get the time.

Never a fan of the power knob either. The stock handle seems to work just fine. I sporadically see pictures of VS reels with bent or broken handles. It seems like every one of those breaks or bends involve a reel with a power handle.
