Who is still interested? MA trout are stocked. I guess fishing hibernation is over; but the good fishing stuff is still a ways off.

I go tomorrow. I'm a Viet era vet; so I punch free admission compliments of the local vfw orgs.

Agreed Mike. We should resurrect some kind of a get together.

Haven't gone for the last few years. It seems to have lost its appeal to me.

Wayne and I went early to get the vets deal again , got there and the place was mobbed , looked like we missed, buys two tickets, turns around and there’s the GUY!
Oh well, nice to see the show and a bunch of guys again….. freaken winter is ovah …..:-)

I get there 10 of. Hundreds of people in line. Looking for the vet booth. Found a fellow Hawkins vet tickets. Thank u very much. Did my pr with rod and plug builders. Was at Lami booth with Frank . Saw Iron Mike. Checked new super surf blanks and couple built rods from Frank. An in between the green and blue SS. Hopefully Lami will have a hub for blank inventory close by soon. Picked up some blanks.

I went once. I hated the crowds. There was a guy selling hot sauces and horseradishes that were way up on the scoville chart. The a-hole had a tank of water on the table with a sign that read "$5 a cup". What he overlooked was that he was right around the corner from the Gansett booth, and they were giving out free samples. It might be piss beer, but it put out the fire. :rotf2:

Haven't done that show in years. Miss seeing all the guys, our cooler full of cocktail supplies, the jerky guy for sure. We sure had a good time doing the show. Was the Sham Wow guy back (out of jail)?

The blow up couches were great. UNtil Vic sat in them with his knife out

I would like to do a couple Legs this year, for old time's sake.

It was always a crap ton of work, last RISAA show I did people (other vendors) stole stuff, including a cart of mine, while exiting the show.

Newport Jerky booth was there….

He’s a striper fisherman as well, I know him but we haven’t spoken in years.

I havent been in years, but the jerky guy I am talking about was from down south. Best jerky I have ever had.

Different stuff, the only time I went I remember the guy who can’t be named eating a brick of it like it was a cheeseburger.

He was a member here years ago.

Jay and I used to split cost of getting this chocolate strudel fedexed to us from Chicago.... He owes me a call. We need to fish June moon again this year.

Met Jay going back almost twenty years ago when he bought a house from the company I work for. Happy go lucky was my first impression....I miss seeing his posts which usually showed his edgy sense of humor. Little convenience store in town sells the Jerky boys wares. You say he got himself a boat .....Ill keep an eye out for him at the ramp or on the river this season.

Yes, met him at the Little Compton get together years ago…. that’s one crazy guy…. :-).

Laughing here.... Crazy. Edgy. Yup! One of my favorite fishing trips was eight years ago (Gawd it was that long ago?). That outing that still is up there on the fun list. We met at Westerly for an overnight run out to SW Ledge. Crew was Captain Cohen, Jay (then known as Westport Mafia), Bobby 5/0, and me. Ten hours of nonstop edgy ball busting! Fish were caught. Another angler was struck with a dogfish, flung overhand from our boat to his! Jay demonstrated how to get the wrapper off his sandwich while it was in his mouth! Offshore heat lightning illuminated our ride back to shore... Instant classic. Like being back in my fraternity house.
