I have finally gotten fed up with the FaceBook BS and I'm out. All I was getting was ads. 80% of my feeds were ads for crap. As a result I have pulled the plug. If you want to get to me, PM me here or text me. If you want my cell to text me, send me a PM here.

Best way to actually enjoy FB is in your groups, no ads when you go to your group posts. I joined a world wide chainsaw carvers group and am constantly blown away by the amazing detailed work I see there and everyone has been so helpful answering any questions I post. My other group is New England kayak fishing, some yard sale groups for posting sale items too.

Dump Facebook and go to Twitter they said. It'll be fun. :rotf2:

I'm with you. And it's a scam. At least half of the blue check accounts are bots. I see tweets day after day that would have been posted in the 0-dark thirty hours in North America, but at mid morning in Moscow or in St. Petersburg (I'm in the same time zone, after all). Twitter does next to no vetting of verification account requests.

And his explanation of what the problem was is total BS---it was due to him not paying Google and Amazon cloud hosting fees when they were due on 30 June.

I remember being told during a very specific exit interview that there was really no upside to my being on social media.....

But since the wife set up an account in her mother's maiden name, I can still cruise around....:lama:

I’m on FB all the time but I don’t post often, never mention work or any personal stuff. Usually just to make a joke here or there or post a cool photo to share.

I totally disagree. Social media is an incredible tool for marketing. You could quadrupole your business in a year or 2 if you used it correctly.
