Flutter spoons getting it Done
3 Attachment(s)
Had an excellent morning. Out at 0530 home by 10am. The spot looked like race point with all the boats . No real surface action . Everything I caught was on a spoon 50ft of water . The 1st was the biggest 36 in the rest were 32 34 inch and a few slots

Man it was cold out there this am. Was slow pitching jigs with no luck. How big is that flutter spoon?

I bought some smaller flutter spoons for last season and just never got a chance to give them a good try. Something about 17 weekends of rain....
Imagine that sumbitch wanted to bite that 9 inch with a NASCAR paint job.... So, is it the motion that drives them to eat it? Nice outing Wayne! You are a week or two ahead of us anyway. Too cold here yesterday to even consider pulling the hose out to get spring wash underway. |
Nice!! Good for you Wayne...perseverance!!!

Went out this Am same spot same tide better weather completely different outcome . From yesterday
Lots of small bass slurping micro bait. They were tight lipped Did manage to get a 32incher on a flutter spoon. But I am having some concerns about the lack of schools of pogies ..in the Bay. Hopefully after all this rain and wind things will improved |
