In recovery mode. Took an 8' fall last Saturday off a ladder. Lots of temporary (i hope) injuries. Just taking it easy and resigned, for this year, from my GC job.
Some vertebra problems but the hip isn't broken so there is hope.

Injury wise, been the worse summer since I was in the service.

Hope you heal up soon, maybe downshift from overdrive one gear if you can :).

For me unpack Maine gear and then yardwork and fishing Sunday.

I made him promise to stay off ladders and quit cutting trees.

I have dodged the bad ladder injury twice in the past six years, I’m done trying to do anything off one, its two ladders and planking between now. Hope you too dodged it Paul, time to accept we are getting to old for some things, regardless of what your 50 year old brain is telling you.

Paul, you ARE a slow learner... As am I... Take the time, heal up, then direct the pent-up energy towards the gym/PT. Sucks when we can't move somewhat athletically...

Wake for next door neighbor at 7. Memorial at cemetery chapel tomorrow at 10:30. I am designated to represent, so no fishing until Sunday... Dani takes care of her mother here, so she avoids large groups if at all possible. We have enough health challenges with her this summer.

Quiet dinner last night with my bride. Shot some sporting clays this morning and some finish work around the house this afternoon. Meeting up with a few couples for Porchfest in Bristol tomorrow. Great time if you like music, a portion of High St is blocked off and there is live music on the front porches. About every 5th or 6th porch has some kind of music from jazz, blues, country, bluegrass, folk, students, baber shop quartet....a little something for everyone. Then when its done everyone heads to the brewery for some fun.

Paul it was great. There were a few horn bands and a swing band too. They play from 3-4:30 and then break down and a new group plays. 22 groups in all. 100's of people all there for the music.
