Blah blah blah 2

Continue to position our family from the adverse ramifications of the coming changes starting Tuesday. Getting oil delivered, before tariff adds 40-70 cents per gallon. Traded Tahoe for almost new Tahoe, before tariffs add $6250 per $25000 on a vehicle with Mexican parts. New carry holster, gun safe for vehicle, and some ammo after the retribution agenda eliminates a large number of prosecutors, FBI agents, and intelligence operatives and puts our nation in peril.
He has every right to do a blanket pardon. I don't agree with pardoning those who committed violent acts, but it is his right as President. I also disagree with his firing of those who work to protect our country and creating a security and intelligence void while new people must be hired and trained. All this while the bad guys continue to do their work... Very similar to what happened in Israel, and led directly to October 7, due to a lapse in security after a purge was completed there..... Close the border, mass deportations of criminals, less government regulation, take DEI of its pedestal. OK. But the retribution agenda and personal vendettas are not what the people voted for.

So...not celebrating

He is doing exactly what he said he would do, but he also ran on lowering the cost of goods and anyone who thinks a tariff trade war with our closest neighbors and other trading partners is going to accomplish that is foolhardy. You nailed it Ross our national security is now in jeopardy, especially with the crew he has nominated for key posts. Our enemies couldn’t be happier as all this weakens us and makes us extremely vulnerable. I posted a very insightful article in the blah blah thread which really describes Trumps approach.

Just more TDS? I don’t think so…. nothing to see right RMARSH ….

Just a reminder that Musk couldn’t get a top level security clearance. And he was under investigation for violating the terms of the clearance he did have. Now he has your Social Security number, your tax returns, and is unilaterally deciding who the government does and does not pay.
Don’t worry, the United States of America will be in full self-driving mode by Monday.

It is an unfortunate fact—and one the US and the world is about to viscerally learn through the Trump administration—that competence is required to fix things, but not to break them.

The Stable Genius is claiming wins
It seems like the trick to negotiating with Trump is to realize he doesn’t have any idea what the current facts are.
"Oh you want 10,000 troops?" says world leader who already deployed 15K. "Great 10k it is"

I always thought it would be a good idea for the USA to build Sovereign Wealth and send it to……,China?
But we’re trillions in debt and are going to borrow money to buy TikTok?

Glad Trump stopped that $50M from being sent to Gaza for condoms since they were making bombs out of the condoms instead of using them as intended.

PaulS 02-03-2025 03:09 PM

Sorry, Trump said it was $100M.

Don't want to spread misinformation.

Pete F. 02-03-2025 05:33 PM

It’s the government so there’s a record of everything, no condoms from USAID for GAZA

Congratulations to Trump on securing a $1.3 billion border security deal from Canada.... which was already negotiated in December 2024.

Who’s running the show

Senior White House staff members have at times also found themselves in the dark, according to two officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe sensitive discussions. One Trump official, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said Mr. Musk was widely seen as operating with a level of autonomy that almost no one can control.

Donald Trump:
To his two neighbors, comply with my demands or I will hurt my own people!

Canada:
Ok, we will keep doing a thing we’ve been doing.

Mexico:
Ok, we will do a thing we did under the last guy.

Trump:
I WIN!!!!

#^&#^&#^&#^&ing idiot.

Meanwhile Zi Jinping is talking about how undependable America is to the other 95% of the world population to make further gains in prosperity for BRICS

You expect on the record sources for breaking news from inside the White House?
When has that ever happened?
It’s in corporate media today, and more is coming out.

It’s really wild how much Trump doesn’t even understand basic economics and instead is just performatively signing EOs that are meaningless.
He usually doesn’t even know what they are. He looks up at the person and says what’s this one and then the person has to read it out loud because signing and reading is too much work.
He is a figurehead head of state while Elon Musk runs the government.

Approximately 20 members of Elon Musk’s staff have begun working within the Education Department. They have gained access to multiple sensitive internal systems, including a financial aid dataset containing the personal information of millions of students and their parents who are enrolled in the federal student aid program.
Fill out a FAFSA anyone?

What could possibly go wrong with that many unvetted unknown individuals having access to sensitive data. It’s the wild west not the west wing. The Trump party (not my families republican party) just confirmed a conspiracy theorist anti vaccination nut job, someone who’s own family members say is extremely dangerous, to head HHS.

So now FFOTUS goes from peace on earth and no more wars to inserting US troops into the longest and most vexing modern conflict in the Middle East.

Trump calls Gaza "the Riviera of the Middle East"

It’ll come with suicide bombers weekly, recruited from the displaced Palestinians.

Trump’s goal appears to be to turn America into a pariah nation for generations to come.

This ability for a Mad King to do multi-generational harm was a central driver of Thomas Jefferson’s contribution to the design of the United States of America and its weak executive.

Well if I can’t get Greenland or Canada, what can I take over, how about a war torn tinder box where Americans are loved to DEATH. So its not right for our neighbors to send their immigrants to us, but its ok to send all the Palestinians to their neighboring countries.

If you are waiting for the next crazy WTF Trump “governing” move you don’t have to wait long. We and the world are witness to the US becoming an unreliable and soon to be dangerous super power headed by a child and lead by his Oligarch side kick.

Fire anyone just doing their job if they even came close to the Jan6 investigation, or anyone not totally loyal to him. Stop all AID operations world wide, why help any countries and that will likely also include blue states. Lets cut the FBI and CIA and put in a Putin ally to lead our intelligence gathering.

Feeling safer now? You thought 9/11 would never happen again, these moves, these post appointments and Trump pissing on the Muslim nation by suggesting the US can take over one of their homelands.

Been a few days, glad to see you’re still desperate for attention.

Well… this is where I agree with trump. But he could have worded things differently. Gaza is a wasteland. The people of gaza will have to leave so it can be rebuilt. Thats where I agree. But from there, they should be given statehood and be left alone.

I agree though… this could spark intense conflict.

I would agree with you . If I thought for one moment Trump was concerned about their safety and living conditions..

But that’s not his motivation.. that’s his excuse …. Why else would he call it the Rivera of the Middle East.

And he and Benny. Haven’t made Israel or Jews around the globe safer.. just the opposite

wdmso 02-05-2025 08:55 AM

Rash of ICE impersonation follows Trump immigration crackdown, police say

Just like the Germans in the 30s. You’ll always find co conspirators.. to help do the dirty work

This never works without a major military presence to insure the safety of the contractors rebuilding his new Mar-A-Logo middle east, when does the stupidity end?
