Shavings either go in the fire pit or to the dump because they suck to burn......cutoffs are used to start my wood stove fires in the shop in winter! Not much waste here!

I don't subscribe to hydro-orientation never have......my belief is the lead added to the belly of the plug offsets any issues anyway.:)
