MrsSFrancis, I was given one of your plugs and I noticed that the front of the lip is not seated all the way back against the wood. Any special reason?

I used to screw up 1 in 3 plugs so don't feel bad. Maybe try drilling after u spin the wood. That's how I do it and I made a jig for my press with a punch on the bottom to keep yoour holes lined...
