Are we just going to mail directly to each participant or mail all the plugs to one guy then distribute from there. The former seems to be the simplest since there are very few participants IMHO.

Is that a #5 blade? I have found that colorados work best in calmer water. You could try going up a size. Before doing that you might try bending a curve into the lip and see if that helps. It's nice...

Used a lot of red cedar and never had any "bleeding" or sap secreted from it (did you seal it?). As far as the action of the plug, could be the size of the lip, you need enough lip to move the plug....
