Fishing them is fine...problem comes if they have brass wire...it gets old and brittle which can snap,away goes the fish...later ones had stainless...I've seen fish bigger then 36" come clear out of...

My thought as well ...conn yankee...before it got repainted...those red swirl atoms were from the early 50's...they came with alburn hooks on them before mustad bought them out in 52.Those atoms ...
