Good source for hardwoods etc. You will need deep pockets if you intend to buy lots. I use them for birch dowels if I want to turn a few needles, but they do not have AYC or Poplar in the price...

George I think my comment was difficult to understand. I don't heat the plug, but use the CO2 to level out the epoxy and eliminating bubbles. It also can be done by breathing on a single plug.

:uhuh: I finally got around to spinnin a few :uhuh:

They vary from 3/4 ounce to 3 1/2 ounces. I had great luck with the small pencils - they can be deadly where the needles are used.

Eric - Try Val oil and a thinner reducer. It is oil base and drys quickly. You do not have to soak the plugs long and it is a excellent sealer. Also do a search. Joe Brotz posted another sealer...
