It's funny ... each of these has an imperfection of one kind or other. On one, the eyes are asymmetrical; one another, there's a small bald spot where I missed some epoxy; etc.

Ratio was 50/50.

Not sure if it was boiled or not.

I have a feeling the "boiled" part is the issue.

Getting rid of mineral spirit stink?

Hi all,

First batch of plugs came out great ... until I tested them in the local lake. After that, I could smell the heady aroma of mineral spirits and linseed oil, the mixture that I used before...

Non-stainless swivels?

Hi dudes,

Building my first 4 plugs, and bought some Billfish swivels as hardware. They aren't stainless steel, but they are about 225 pounds strong.

Does it matter if they're not stainless?...
