Yes, I think it's MDF...why they would use that for a kitchen floor boundary is beyond me.

Didn't know if there was another option besides just painting wood. The cabinets aren't anything fancy,...

Installed what came with them years ago and after a while it fell apart. Put some of the rubber adhesive roll product on it and it looked like crap. Replaced with the white toe kick they sell at Home...
