Think the Allstar 1208 is a little heavy for the 1.5 oz stuff. But it rocks with 2.5-4oz. :D

The 1208 Batson and Amtak are lighter than the Allstar 1208, and work well with the 1.5 to 2.5oz.

The Batson SW1208 and the Amtak ASW1208 are very..very similar blanks. Both almost identical tapers with fast actions. Amtak blank is all graphite where the Batson is a composite.

That AllStar 1206 is a sweet blank... Price runs just a bit over the $100 mark, but is well worth it. The Batson 1209 is also great in that weight range, but is a one piece blank.
