There are different ways apparently to encode movies in 3D. Three (at least) different 3D encoding can be used: red/blue, red/green or polarized. The glasses must match the encoding to work.

What a movie and much better in 3D using the large, plastic 3D glasses than the old paper ones. There are different ways apparently to encode movies in 3D as the glasses for Avatar (borrowed a pair)...

3D or HD 2D?

I just watched a 3D movie (Final Destination 3D, Blu-Ray) for the 1st time in maybe 20 years. Not sure I think the 3D effects outweigh the high quality images of HD 2D. Can it be the cheapo 3D...
