soooo true Ross! I was actually thinking about this just this morning!! I had seen a similar thread on another site, and got to thinking about where most of us would be now, if we were treated with such disdain and contempt for accidentally casting across another's line, or asking a stupid question if we were kids? Then I started thinking about all the dumb things I do when I fish, and how much I know I have no clue about, and it blows my mind! I know I know very little compared to many, but there is one thing that I try to adhere to no matter what, and that's having respect for other angler's space and having respect for everything that ends up on my line. I don't stab or slice dogfish and skates if they steal my bait, as they're doing what they're supposed to do. Good stuff man!!!

There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process. ~Paul O'Neil, 1965
