You should have seen the look on his face
Poor kid just came to my front door asking for a donation. It seems the federal government is considering cutting funds necessary to protect wildlife on the beaches of Cape Cod.
I asked him if he had been to the beaches recently, did he enjoy the smell of seal crap? And why on earth would I want to preserve an area for "widlife"that is more and more off limits to PEOPLE. Might as well burn it down. He left quickly.
