When you run into an occassional blue, they are a pain in the *ss, because they tend to steel a lot of terminal tackle

. Now if I run into schools of big blues busting on top, like we did for a 2-3 week period last fall, then I go chase them instead of the bass. When they are busting on bait on top, you can beat the fun and action of the big blues. We did that last fall until my arms were about to fall off, lot's of 12-15 lbers and a few that were over 17. With the lull in the bass action now, I'd welcome the opportunity to chase some blues around.
