I fished a few times this summer in them and they are better then the rubba marathons and much easier to walk in but they still hold moisture (they were wet on then inside when I got out...It was a warm humid night but I expected better) . I am concerned that they will be cold in the late fall...

Even with breathables, it's all a matter of degree. I've found that the best results are when I wear moisture wicking type underwear with them. No jeans or cotton underwear, they hold water like crazy. Also, if wading waist deep, water will still condense on the inside of the fabric that is underwater, but will tend to dry when out of the water, instead of dribbling down and accumulating at your feet.
