Yeah, I researched explosion proof fans before I made this....very expensive. The small amount of fumes, even if ignited, would at best produce a tiny puff. I'm not too worried, but do keep a fire extinguisher just to be on the safe side. But there really isn't too many other options when it comes to being in a basement and spraying with rattle cans. Even opening the windows doesn't work as well as this. The fumes when the windows were open were still bad and accumulated far worse than now.
