Thanks for the help but the leadtime on the Batson rod was a little bit longer than I wanted to wait, maybe next time. The fish are here now, and I can drive on the beach in a few days

I ended up just grabbing a 10' St Croix 10-20lb stick with a Penn 6500, I hope it's what I was looking for. Now to braid or not to braid?????
