and there is no excuse for not having chafing gear even without the storm on a mooring... its just good practice... but BigBo learned his lesson right?

also the ground tackle should be checked periodically...

i do this for my father's moorings and friends periodically

its a big thing everyone should do with a mooring atleast once a year... esp. before a storm
