In regards to the poem you mention Desiderata "Be cheerful-strive to be happy"! I have never heard of that poem but I am going to find it! My Dad all of my life would say to me......"Do what makes you happy".....his words always echo in my mind and they are words I try to live by and this can only be done today as tomorrow is never a promise!
