Oh yeah, the electronics all have inline fuses and ironically the Lorrance cable was new this spring. I've got to look at the male/female connections on the cable/gps unit to see if something looks wrong. If the new batterys installed power it right up, I have to believe it's a problem with the cable. I say that because the depth finder is on that same circuit and it ran fine.
