Like Andy said just replace them not expensive. Those cheap Chinese bearings don't last very long. I change mine every other year races and bearings in the tin boat. The larger boat I buy good German bearings that last much longer. I always clean out old grease and repack every year, always, both boats. I also keep a spare hub with bearings for both boats in the truck. When I buy new hubs every few years I just set up an old one with old bearings cleaned and repacked for the emergency that may happen. All it takes is one fried bearing on side of road to make you smarten up.
