Dad would approve
The local club replaced the race committee mark boat/safety boat this past year, and voted to named the new one after my father, as was the old boat. He had served as safety boat on the race courses for many years before he died. He would have approved of this choice! He also would have pointed out that his name was on the door to the head!!!!!
