Yup.
In the early-mid 2000's, once the big bass moved out of the shallows of the lower bay in mid-June, the bluefish would invade. Targeting the blitzes with ultra light tackle or jigging bluefish next to the bridge was a standard august pastime in my 13ft whaler.
