I will say this though I own 2 boats. One 14' tin and my 19' glass boat. I can't or are not suppose to fish in my tin boat when I have a permit with the other boats # on the permit. I often would have liked to have used my tin boat if the bite was close to shore or inshore but if I got caught on that boat with my permit and the other boats reg.# and more than 2 fish I would imagine I would be in deep doo doo and obviously I could not use someone else boat either.
