Sons of anarchy
Justified
Hell on wheels
The strain
The Americans
All great shows with intelligent writing behind them.
Anybody that made the Breaking Bad journey enjoyed probably one of the best written TV shows ever.
Anything that tries to base itself in "reality" is pure crap
