Here's a link to the spool assembly. With the spool off the reel, grip the spool tightly with one hand and with a screwdriver through the holes in the base skirt for leverage, unscrew the skirt from the spool body.
You want to remove parts #5 and #19 (springs and drag clickers).
Then re-assemble and screw the skirt back on.
Very simple procedure.
