30 people at my house tomorrow for thanksgiving. We'll see how it goes.
The spinal fracture is starting to feel a little better, so hopefully I don't do anything dumb in the next 24 hours. And in case anybody is worried, no, I didn't have another catastrophe. They just never figured out that I also broke my F&^Hng back along with 6 ribs.
On a lighter note, I went to the knee doc who said "no act of God or man can fix your problem. You have the same condition that made Bobby Orr leave hockey."
He then took a look at my shoulder and figured out why I was in the hospital for 6 days in September, too. Crazy. He said they should have sent me to him, he would have drained it, and sent me home with some antibiotics. Gonna need to have my right ac joint worked on in March or so, but that should be the end of my issues. It's nice to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Sunday clean up, find a fireplace screen, and get ready for the propane installation next week.
Jack wants a fireplace with real fire for Xmas. Not a cheap gift.
Other than that, lots of exercise and cooking.
Anybody that's in the Waltham area and wants to stop by for some kick ass smoked turkey, let me know and I'll PM you my address.
