Chris, may God give you the strength to be strong for those who cannot, my thoughts and prayers are with you brother ...as well as everyone else with these serious life changers.
I too believe that Prayer works but it's the Faith behind the prayer that helps carry it through. In the end, it will be His will...I always pray that He will give me the courage and humility to deal with it when it knocks on my door. God Bless you all.
It's been and continues to be a tough 2015...I've attended 4 wakes in January alone, not one due to old age...very sad year so far.
