They (NOAA, NEFMC, GARFO, etc.) reject all we say anyway and then do what they want (that is to give the draggers what they want).
The "fishery management process" is a sham!
I start every meeting I go to by suggesting we remove the draggers from the water and "problems solved". I'm told to shut up every time!

If you really do begin every meeting with that "suggestion" I would respectfully ask that you remove yourself from whatever advisory board you currently sit on.
If that's the type of representation the recreational and charter fisherman are getting at these meetings, it's no wonder no compromise was achieved and rec anglers are now closed out of a fishery we've enjoyed for hundreds of years.
