Glad you had fun, it was great to fish with you finally, just sorry it was so snotty outside. Mike and I had trouble keeping our feet under us this morning and after maybe a half dozen fish, we decided it was just getting worse with the turn of the tide. I'll bet your glad I told you to bring a foul weather suit
, even a bright sunny day in an open 19 foot aluminum, can mean a good old fashion drenching.
We tucked inside the north river, along with everyone else it seems, because the spit and main channel near the mouth was like a parking lot. It took us a while to find some active fish, but we managed some additional fish in the river. Although it wasn't a hot fishing day, it was good to meet and fish with Mike. I hope to get together with you come fall, to maybe catch the tail end of the fall migration, before they leave RI for good.
