Yanmar engine mounted filters are around 35 bucks each plus the Yanmar/racor setup fuel water filters are over 40 bucks each.

Plus they are Yanmar specific, there is no aftermarket alternative. I do get about 300 hours on filters though.
it's like buying a new reel every filter change.
